TGIF, COD! 🦅⚾😂
Officers Winton and Rudauskas just pulled off the greatest save of the week and it wasn’t even on the diamond!
This ambitious hawk decided to go for a grand slam... right into the batting cage netting.
After a dramatic mid-air flip and getting fully wrapped up like a feathered burrito, our guys carefully freed him and sent him back to the skies where he belongs.
Lesson of the day: even hawks have bad Fridays.
Who else is just trying to make it to 5 o’clock without getting tangled in anything? Happy Friday! 🙌

We are proud of former student worker and part-time dispatcher Officer Marino, who now serves with the Woodstock Police Department.
Officer Marino was recently recognized for his courage and dedication after entering a burning residence filled with heavy smoke and locating an immobilized, wheelchair-bound resident. He carried the resident to safety, demonstrating exceptional bravery under dangerous conditions.
Congratulations to Officer Marino on this well-deserved recognition. We are proud to see one of our own making a difference through service, professionalism and courage.
