Look who’s heading out! That’s my boy Frank leaving the job site. Frank and I actually grew up together, went to high school together, and even wrestled together! 
It’s always great working with old friends. Thanks to him, we got the two storage containers moved and the area completely cleared out. Now we’ve got a lot more working space, and we’re officially ready to roll! 
So excited for the next phase of this project. Stay tuned for more updates! 🏗️💪

Getting the job done—one container at a time! 🏗️ Watch Frank from Frankie’s make it look easy as he delivers and slides this storage container right into place at our job site (with a little help from Maverick the pup keeping watch! 🐾). Even with the front wheels lifting off the ground, experience and leverage always win.

Clearing the way for the next phase at our Sea Cliff project! 🏗️✨
Big shoutout to our good friend Frankie for helping us get these storage containers shifted and out of the way. Clearing up this space gives us room to bring in our excavators and get right to work on the back of the house.
Once our final permits are fully solidified, things are really going to start moving fast over the next four weeks. Looking forward to making some major progress before winter sets in! Stay tuned for more updates. 🔨🏡

Day One of demo is officially underway! 🔨
We’ve stripped things down to the studs in this master suite addition. Sometimes when you peel back the layers of an older project, you find nasty surprises—but we were pleasantly surprised to find some exceptionally solid framing put in place back in the mid-2000s!

Clearing the path for huge transformations! 🌳🛠️
We wrapped up initial land clearing on this property, and it’s incredible to see how much space opened up. Beyond clearing out overgrown brush, this step reveals the full potential of the layout—from future retaining walls to flat, usable spaces with picturesque views.
Next up: tree removals coming next week as we prepare to hit the ground running on the full build!

Taking this space from dated to fully custom! 🛠️✨
Here is a walkthrough of our latest full-house transformation project. Here is a breakdown of what we have planned for the second floor:
🔨 Open-Concept Entrance: Removing the wall and existing stairs to install modern, see-through staircases for an open, airy feel.
🈳 Primary Suite Upgrade: Redesigning the main upstairs area into a massive primary suite complete with a full 4-fixture bath, spacious closets, and dedicated second-floor laundry.
🚽 Smart Layout Changes: Splitting the large hallway bathroom into two separate baths—an ensuite for one bedroom and a dedicated hall bath for the remaining rooms.
🏠 4-Bedroom Conversion: Reconfiguring the layout to create four spacious bedrooms.

Demo day at the Treehouse Project is here. 🔨🏡

It’s dark in there, and it’s dated. The kitchen is beat up, the layout is closed off, and there’s a lot of wall standing between this house and what it could be.

Here’s the plan:
🛏️ A new bedroom with a separate ensuite
🪜 A second set of stairs, with an entry from the first floor
🍳 The kitchen wall opened up to the living area
☀️ Half of the sunroom wall taken down, so the natural light can finally flow through

We’re taking it all the way down to the studs, then starting fresh and doing it right.

Maverick is already on site and ready to work. 🐕

Uncovering history on the job site! 🏛️✨
During a recent demo, we uncovered something incredible—the original cedar clapboard siding from 1890 hidden beneath the porch! Because it was sheltered all those years, it’s still in fantastic condition.
When restoring historical homes, preserving original craftsmanship is always our priority. Our plan is to retain as much of this original 1890s siding as possible, especially around the curved front feature of the home.
There’s nothing quite like uncovering a piece of history and breathing new life into it! 🔨🏠
