In addition to free blood pressure screenings, Glenburn Fire Department is now offering the Vial of Life program.
What is Vial of Life? It's a simple form that lists your (or a loved one's) key health information — medications, conditions, allergies, and emergency contacts. If you're ever in an emergency and can't speak for yourself, that information is what lets us give you the best possible care, fast.
If you live alone, or you have parents or relatives who live alone, this is a simple way to make sure you (or they) are prepared if a medical emergency ever happens.
We'll help you fill it out. Once it's done, it goes in a small vial that you tape to your fridge — the first place emergency responders are trained to check.
