A huge congratulations to our three Glendale High School girls who competed at the State Badminton Tournament! Our doubles team, Erica Baldemira and Camila Delfs, came out strong, winning their first match, and taking it to a game 3 in round 2. Valeria Delfs came out swinging and found hard her entire match. All three Cardinals battled hard, showed determination, and competed with heart against some tough competition.

Making it to the state tournament is an accomplishment to be proud of, and these girls represented Glendale High School with class, resilience, and Cardinal pride! Their hard work and willingness to compete at the highest level made us proud.

Despite the stormy weather, our GHS seniors and their parents showed up last night to ensure completion of BOTH the student and parent sections of the FAFSA! 🎓🙌
Completing the FAFSA opens doors to financial aid, including up to $7,395 per year in federal Pell Grant funding for eligible students to help pay for university, community college, and some eligible trade school programs.
We’re proud of our Cardinals and families for taking this important step toward career success after graduation!

The future is calling, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) helps students prepare to answer. Through hands-on learning, career-focused coursework, and opportunities to build technical and workplace skills, students can explore pathways aligned with their interests and goals. Consistent attendance gives students the time and opportunity to participate, practice, and turn classroom learning into skills they can carry into their future careers.

GHS Band and Orchestra students attended a performance of The Phantom of the Opera including dinner after the show, student presentations, and a Talk Back with members of the cast and crew from the production. Glendale HS and Blue Ridge HS were the only two schools invited to participate in this program at ASU Gammage. The Glendale student presentations included a magazine about Phantom of the Opera that was printed and distributed at the dinner, two original poems read by our students, architecture projects related to the show, and a performance by the Phantom Five.
