Request for More Skateboard Parks in Aurora
Earlier this week, I met Liam Hose, an Aurora resident and avid skateboarder and his father Joe, about building a skateboard park in the newer parts of our city in Southeast Aurora.
According to Liam, Aurora has only two skateboard parks, the Dayton Park in Northwest Aurora and the Wheel Park in Central Aurora, and neither one meets the needs for advanced skateboarders.
Liam and his father Joe Hose are members of the Colorado Skateboarding Society and, in the photo, presented me with a shirt from their organization.
