K-9 Ghost held a coloring contest for his friends at Glenrock Elementary School. He helped to pick the winners and sent them home with some sweet swag! We also hung up as many of the entries as we could at the Police Department, so everyone can check them out.

Communications supervisor Moulton had an amazing group of participants last night at the CPR class she hosted for local youth. The course had 12 attendees who were able to learn life saving skills to carry with them day to day to make our community a safer place. A big thanks also to local CPR instructor, Jamie Pinkerton and school nurses, Nurse Stanfield and Nurse Rowe, who volunteered their time to help teach. SRO Pierce coordinated the event and was also able to speak with Converse County Memorial Hospital about covering the cost of student registration. Attention: Construction will begin on Fourth Street next week between Grove and Fir. They will be shutting the road down to one lane of travel. Please be prepared for a delay. Please exercise additional caution during drop-off and pick-up, as this could alter the bus routes and also cause delays.

We want to extend a congratulations to Officer Schaffer who graduated from the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy today. After 14 weeks of being away for the dedicated training, Officer Schaffer will return to us and continue her field training. Congratulations and welcome back Officer!

With the recent Fire Ban, we want to remind everyone that Fire works are not allowed within the Town of Glenrock outside of the South Rec Complex on the dates and times set to be supervised by the Glenrock Fire Department. This year the Town of Rolling Hills will not be issuing any permits for fireworks either. The dry season has caused serious fire risks, don’t risk it.
