You are invited to the Access Unbound Adaptive Sports Film Festival! Following the opening night screening of documentary "Full Circle" will be a panel discussion with MVDS adult participant, Zack Korbel and others! Friday, November 6, 6pm at the Colorado Snowsports Museum Hall of Fame in Vail. A monthly festival, the January screening will feature MVDS participant, Tim Sackbauer, and his film, "Arc'teryx", same time and place.

Support our local nonprofits and the people they serve!

Pitkin County’s Healthy Community Fund (HCF) is on the ballot this November 3, and its future funding matters to organizations and families throughout our region—including Mountain Valley Developmental Services!

Since 1973, MVDS has worked to encourage and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live, learn, and work as independently and inclusively as possible.

💙 Healthy Community Fund support helps make this mission possible. This funding has helped MVDS provide services to individuals with I/DD throughout their lives, from early childhood through adulthood.

Today, MVDS serves approximately 600 individuals and their families across Garfield, Pitkin, Eagle, and Lake Counties, including:
💙 400 children through Early Intervention
💙 200 adults through Adult Services

Our professional, proven programs help children reach developmental milestones and support adults in building independence, developing meaningful relationships, participating in their communities, and finding and maintaining employment.

Community funding helps local nonprofits continue providing essential services that make a lasting difference in people's lives.

💙 Learn about Ballot Measure 1A and the Healthy Community Fund before Pitkin County votes on November 3.

The MVDS Pin Pals took to the lanes in Grand Junction earlier this month to compete in the Special Olympics Colorado - Western Region bowling games. Lots of fun had by all, and many ribbons!

Los MVDS Pin Pals acudieron a las pistas de Grand Junction a principios de este mes para competir en los juegos de bolos de las Olimpiadas Especiales de Colorado (Región Oeste). ¡Todos se divirtieron muchísimo y se llevaron muy cintas!
