With fall being here and winter around the corner it is very important to get your furnace, wood stove, fire place/chimney and electrical checked.

Also a friendly reminder to make sure you check your smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector batteries and dont assume they are working unless you test them. We want everyone to have a safe winter!

We just wanted to send a huge Thank you to all of sponsors, volunteers, and those that came out to our street dance fundraiser for the Glidden fire Department and Glidden Ems. It was a great time with great music, great food, and the weather was perfect.

We also want send a huge thank you and shout out to North Country Lumber for their use of the trailer for the band!!!

This Friday!!! The Glidden fire department and Glidden Ems have the annual street dance coming up Friday September 4th with some great food, drinks and live music. All funds raised this day or from sponsorships raised for this event will be divided amongst both departments who can then purchase the necessary equipment to help keep the community safe. Attached in the images is the schedule for that date. We hope to see everyone there!!!

Your Glidden fire Department was hard at work Monday night testing/training their scba masks, tanks, generators, Co2 detectors, jaws of life, and changing batteries on necessary items. They also were busy cleaning the trucks, hoses, and utv from the past weekends calls.
