The Meco Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a reported structure fire on State Route 309 in the Town of Johnstown. Upon arrival Chief House of Meco, he confirmed a working structure fire and notified Fire Dispatch the incident was actually within the Pleasant Square Fire Protection District. Upon arrival, fire personnel started an exterior attack and transitioned into an interior attack when qualified members arrived to do so. The home mainly suffered fire and heat damage in the attic along with parts of the second floor.
