City staff are currently reviewing City Code Chapter 113-152, which relates to Screening, Outdoor Storage, and Fences.

One of the recommended changes will allow 6 foot fences along the non-addressed side of properties that have streets on more than one side, as long as the fence is set back 5 feet. Under current code, fences along all street frontages are limited to 4 feet.

The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing for this proposed code update on October 12, 6:30 pm at City Hall.

Beginning Tuesday, September 15, Theodore Wirth Pkwy will be closed from Hwy 55 to Glenwood Ave for trail reconstruction.

The current plan is to reopen the parkway October 6 or sooner, weather permitting.

All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather and schedule permitting and subject to change.
