An Infinite Mind is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to educating the public and professional community

An Infinite Mind was formed out of need for accurate information on all Dissociative Disorders, but especially DID. We believe strongly in promoting and showing the positive truth to dissociative identities. It is our hope that in the very near future, people will no longer have to hide. They can be free and embrace the amazing gift that is dissociative identities.

Many survivors of abuse are told that healing means forgiving the people who hurt them. Lyn Barrett offers another path.

In A Hero's Journey for Dissociative Survivors: Healing Without Forgiving, Lyn reminds us that we're all heroes on a journey, including you. Forgiving your perpetrators is not a prerequisite for a happy, whole life. Using the archetypal hero's journey, Lyn introduces the Healing Wheel as a roadmap and "healing intentions" as the destination.

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we're revisiting this session for every survivor still finding their way.

Help bring an important story to the screen.

Us and You is an animated short film written, directed, and produced by Lorre Jones (they/them) about Alisha, who navigates her first q***r date after being diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder (DID). Originally developed as a thesis film at Loyola Marymount University, it's grown into a passion project centering Black mental health, neurodiversity, and authentic representation — portraying DID with empathy, accuracy, and compassion instead of harmful stereotypes.
