Highlighting the Impact of Cooperative Extension in Wayne County! 🌱

Our Wayne County Cooperative Extension team welcomed NC State University and NC State Extension leadership for an inside look at how we're serving our community.

We were pleased to host Jim Pfaendtner, Garey Fox, Dr. David Monks, Dr. Ben Chapman, and Dalton Dockery as we shared the programs and educational resources that are making a difference across Wayne County.

Through interactive presentations and hands-on demonstrations, we highlighted our work in agriculture, livestock, horticulture, Juntos, 4-H youth development, and food and nutrition education.

From supporting local farmers to creating learning opportunities for youth and helping families make informed choices, our mission remains the same: connecting our community with research-based knowledge, practical resources, and opportunities to thrive.

Thank you to our visitors for taking the time to learn more about the people and programs serving Wayne County! ❤️🤍
