Members of IAFF Local #4005 and the Goodyear Fire Honor Guard were honored to stand alongside firefighters from across the U.S. and Canada at the annual IAFF Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial in Colorado Springs.

We gathered to mourn, honor, and celebrate the lives of the 193 IAFF members who lost their lives in the line of duty in 2025, along with 95 legacy members added to the memorial this year—and to stand with the families and loved ones of all those memorialized who carry their legacy forward. 🕯️

We remember. We honor. We never forget.

🇺🇸 HAPPY LABOR DAY WEEKEND! 🇺🇸

This Labor Day, United Goodyear Fire Fighters Local #4005 proudly recognizes and thanks all the hard-working men and women who keep our communities, businesses, and country moving forward. Whether you wear a uniform, work with your hands, sit behind a desk, care for others, build our communities, teach our children, or keep businesses running — your work matters.

We especially recognize our fellow union members who continue the proud tradition of standing together for working families. For generations, unions have fought for fair wages, safer working conditions, reasonable hours, benefits, retirement security, and a voice on the job. Many of the workplace protections and standards workers benefit from today were strengthened by the efforts and sacrifices of organized labor.

This weekend, we honor the workers who came before us, appreciate those working today, and continue fighting for the generations that follow. From our union family to yours, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. Have a safe and happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸🔥
