BIG NEWS FOR THE THE TOWN OF GORDON!

The Town of Gordon is proud to announce that we have been awarded a $520,000 State Transportation Grant for road paving and resurfacing projects throughout our community!

This funding marks another major milestone in Mayor Connie Brooks' "Golden Expansion Plan," the vision she campaigned on to improve Gordon's infrastructure, enhance public services, and invest in the future of our town. Today's announcement is another step toward turning that vision into reality.

These improvements will help create safer, smoother roads for our residents, businesses, and visitors while continuing the progress being made across our community. APPROXIMATELY 2.8 miles of roads i.e. 9 roads will be resurfaced. This hasn't happened in gordon in over FOURTY YEARS!!!!

Mayor Brooks extends her sincere appreciation to our state partners and everyone who helped make this investment possible. Together, we are building a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Gordon.

Stay tuned for additional information on the paving schedule and the roads that will be included as project details become available.

The Golden Expansion Plan is delivering results—and this is just the beginning! 🛣️💙
