🚒 VEHICLE EXTRICATION TRAINING 🚒

The Goreville Fire Department recently had the opportunity to get in some valuable hands-on vehicle extrication training, working through several different rescue scenarios and vehicle types. This training even included something we don’t get to work with every day — a full-size school bus! 🚌

Training like this gives our firefighters the opportunity to practice with our extrication equipment, work through challenging situations, and develop the skills and teamwork needed when a real emergency happens.

A HUGE thank you to Vernell’s and Britton’s Towing Services for donating their time, equipment, and resources to deliver vehicles for us to train on. Opportunities like this wouldn’t be possible without local businesses willing to step up and support their community and first responders.

We truly appreciate your continued support of the Goreville Fire Department! 🚒🤝

Train hard. Work together. Be ready when the call comes.

🚒🛠️ Huge shoutout and THANK YOU to Vernells, Brittons, and Goddards Towing for their incredible support of the Goreville Fire Department!

These local businesses donated wrecked vehicles for our auto extrication training, giving firefighters the opportunity to practice real-world rescue scenarios and sharpen lifesaving skills. 🚗✂️🔥

Training like this is absolutely critical because when serious accidents happen, every second counts. Your support helps ensure our firefighters are better prepared to safely and quickly rescue victims in emergency situations.

We truly appreciate businesses that step up and invest in the safety of our community. 👏🇺🇸 Thank you for supporting your local first responders and helping us continue to serve the people of Goreville and surrounding areas! 🚨🚑💪
