Thank you to all who made this event possible, we very much appreciate the donation!!

🦆 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀!

Today, we had the privilege of presenting the Gothenburg Fire Department with a check for $𝟮,𝟱𝟬𝟬. That's great proceeds from 1,000 rubber ducks taking a joyride down Avenue F in the very first 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴 𝗗𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗵! 😎

When we dreamed up this slightly ridiculous idea, we hoped it would be fun. We hoped people would show up. And we hoped we could raise some money for an organization that shows up for all of us when we need them.

Gothenburg, you delivered! ❤️

Every duck you bought helped turn a brand-new Harvest Festival event into a $2,500 donation to our volunteer firefighters.

A huge thank you to everyone who bought ducks, sold ducks, wrangled ducks, raced ducks, blasted ducks down the street with fire hoses and stood along Avenue F cheering them on.

🐥 Your duck has trained for this moment. (Okay...maybe not.)
Tonight, hundreds of rubber ducks will race down Avenue F in one of Harvest Festival's newest traditions: the 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴 𝗗𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗵.
Cheer loudly.
Laugh often.
And remember... Every duck supports the Gothenburg Fire Department.
