Gowrie Firemen

07/07/2026

On behalf of the Gowrie Fire Department, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the retired firefighters who joined us for our Appreciation Supper on July 3rd as we celebrated our department’s 125th anniversary. It was an honor to recognize those who helped build the strong tradition of service that continues today.

We also want to thank our incredible community for your continued support over the past 125 years. Your encouragement, generosity, and trust mean the world to us and help make it possible for us to serve and protect Gowrie and the surrounding area.

A special thank you to The Gowrie News for capturing and sharing many of the photos from this memorable celebration. We appreciate your help in preserving and sharing these moments with our community.

Here’s to honoring our past, serving our present, and looking forward to the future. Thank you for celebrating this milestone with us!
