The purpose of the official Walsh County Emergency Management social media accounts is to present matters of public interest regarding Emergency preparedness, situational awareness and mitigation. We encourage you to submit your questions, comments, and concerns, but please note these are moderated online discussion sites. If you have an emergency, call 911 immediately. Posts by other Facebook users does not, in anyway, represent the feelings or thoughts of Walsh County Emergency Management or Walsh County. We recognize social media is a 24/7 medium, and your comments are welcome at any time. However, given the need to manage our staff resources (your tax dollars), we generally only monitor comments and postings during regular business hours. Once comments are posted, Walsh County Emergency Management reserves the right to remove submissions that contain:

Personal attacks of any kind

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 31 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northwest Minnesota and
northeast North Dakota.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 AM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could harm or kill crops,
other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Urban centers may not experience freezing
conditions due to locally warmer temperatures.
