Taylor County Emergency Squad.INC is a Non-profit 501c3 Organization (Donations Always accepted P.O.Box 161-Grafton,WV 26354). EMS was founded by all volunteers desiring to help others in times of crisis and emergency situations. EMS started in 1961 at Latrobe Street in Grafton. EMS used a hearse as the first ambulance serving the community. EMS receives an Emergency service levy that was started by Amy Summers and Beth Twigg. EMS now has full time and part time staff, that work around the clock to ensure the highest standard of care is being offered to the community. We currently operate three ambulances that are state certified. They respond to: 911 emergency calls, hospital to hospital transports, non-emergency medical transports, festivals, sporting events, etc.

Happy Father's Day from Taylor County EMS! 🚑

Today, we honor and celebrate all fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who make a difference in the lives of their families and communities.

We extend a special thank you to the dads who serve in emergency services and healthcare. Your dedication to caring for others, often while sacrificing time with your own loved ones, reflects the true meaning of service and commitment.

May your day be filled with appreciation, laughter, and time spent with those who matter most.

From all of us at Taylor County EMS, we wish you a safe, happy, and blessed Father's Day!

Written for West Virginia EMS by Cecil Odell Music, this song reflects the true weight of the job—the long days, the difficult calls, and the sacrifices often unseen. We extend our deepest gratitude to all EMS providers, especially those of Taylor County Emergency Squad, who stand strong for others in their darkest hours.
