Town of Granada

Request for Proposals: Managed IT Services

The Town of Granada seeks proposals from qualified providers for managed IT services beginning November 1, 2026. This solicitation will remain open until filled.

Current Environment

The Town currently has four working computers: two desktops and two laptops. Additional computers will be needed when the Police Department reactivates. VoIP telephone service is provided through an outside service, and the Town uses Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) to access its ERP system.

An aging file server needs to be retired. Migration to Google Drive is on hold pending a Board decision; proposals should address a replacement server solution and separately price a possible future Google Drive transition.

Services Requested

General IT support, including remote and onsite assistance.

Server and NAS backup management, including monitoring and recovery support.

Bitdefender antivirus and anti-malware monitoring and Windows patch management.

Wireless access point management, including intrusion detection and prevention subscriptions.

Management of Microsoft Office 365, Adobe, and ChatGPT subscriptions, plus two Google Workspace Vault licenses.

Website management and routine maintenance.

Support for ERP remote access and coordination with the outside VoIP provider.

Retirement of the aging file server, including data migration and a proposed replacement solution.

Proposal and Pricing Requirements

Provide qualifications, relevant experience, references, support availability, response times, proposed contract length, and a transition plan addressing the November 1 start date.

Provide pricing by line item, separating recurring services, software licenses, equipment, and one-time costs. Include:

Pricing to support the current four computers.

The additional recurring support and license cost per added computer.

Purchase and setup pricing for additional desktops and laptops, including recommended specifications.

File server replacement, migration, and retirement costs.

A separately priced optional Google Drive transition, subject to Board approval.

Identify included services, exclusions, assumptions, and additional charges. Equipment and license questions may be directed to the Clerk’s Office.

Submission and Selection

Email proposals and questions to the Clerk’s Office at [email protected], using the subject line “Managed IT Services Proposal.”

The Town will evaluate qualifications, service coverage, responsiveness, references, and cost. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and request additional information.

Flushing Water / Sewer Lines - 10/13/2026

Beginning Tuesday, October 13th, the maintenance crew will be flushing the water and sewer lines. You may notice discoloration in the water. This is temporary, from churning up sediment in old cast iron pipes. You do not need to boil your water.

If these are your dogs you need to come get them. They’re currently at 107 N Irvin in Granada!
