On October 21st, GFN leadership welcomed the newly appointed U.S. Marshal for the District of Minnesota, James Stuart, and Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Farris Wooton, for a collaborative meet-and-greet. The visit brought together CBP component heads across the GFN AOR (AMO, USBP, and OFO) to strengthen interagency partnerships, followed by an insightful tour of the National Air Security Operations Center (NASOC) facility. Stronger together in securing our communities!

Pembina Station Agents thwarted a human smuggling attempt near Neche, ND!

Agents were alerted to a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed southbound from the international border. Agents arrested four individuals; including two Belizean nationals who entered the U.S. illegally and two U.S. citizens now facing 8 USC 1324; smuggling charges. A subsequent vehicle search also uncovered cash and ma*****na belonging to one of the U.S. citizens.

Quick thinking and swift action by our Pembina Agents! On September 21st, during routine patrol in Grand Forks, ND, agents successfully apprehended two Salvadoran nationals following a vehicle stop and brief foot pursuit. Both subjects were determined to be illegal aliens and are in Border Patrol custody, awaiting removal proceedings. Outstanding work by our agents keeping our communities safe!
