We have two crews out today! One crew will finish up the West route, while the other finishes the South route. Once both routes are complete, the crews will converge on the North route.

Reminder: Tomorrow is the last day the chipper will be out for the season. Please plan accordingly!

Lane restrictions have begun on Staley Road between Baseline Road and 2540 Staley Road.

The north shoulder of Staley Road will be widened first, which is expected to take approximately one week. The south shoulder will then be widened the following week.

Once the shoulder work is complete, the entire roadway will be milled and paved.

We anticipate the entire process will take approximately 20 days. Please use caution when traveling through the work zone and expect delays.

Just a friendly reminder that the branch pickup is currently on a limited schedule due to our summer help returning to school. Also another friendly reminder that branches that are trimmed by a contractor will not be picked up by town crews.

Branch Pick-Up
GUIDELINES FOR BRANCH PICK-UP SERVICE

This service is available for ROUTINE homeowner tree trimming only.

This does not include tree removal.

We do not pickup branches from lots being cleared by builders or private owners.

We will not pick up any branch debris left by tree removal contractors.

All Branches must be no larger than 6" in diameter.

All Branches must be piled as neatly as possible with all ends facing the road.

Please do not place logs on top of branch pile.

We will not pickup branches on private property.

We do not pickup stumps, roots, leaves, lawn sweepings, or logs.

Branches should not be stacked more than 4 ft. high.

Branch pickup is done by route, we do not take requests.

We will start at one end of the island and continue until the entire island is completed.

Time frames will be determined by weather conditions, precedent duties, equipment, quantity of pickups

and manpower.

LIMITED BRANCH PICKUP: (SEPTEMBER 1ST - OCTOBER 15TH) (New Branch Season Starts Spring 2027)

AT THIS TIME, WE BEGIN TO TURN THE TRUCKS OVER FOR THE WINTER SALTING/PLOWING SEASON
