NEXT WEEK!

09/25/2026

We are less than 4 weeks from the end of Q1. It is important that students use their WORK FROM HOME days to WORK FROM HOME. All Edgenuity classes should be in the blue or green.

ON CAMPUS days are focused heavily on in-person classes. If there have been absences or missed assignments, it is important to choose study halls wisely and consider staying after school for individual help.

Teachers are also available for virtual meets on Fridays and Mondays. Students simply email/chat the teacher they need time with and the teacher will send a Meet link.

Continuing the tradition and sharing mums with our neighbors for Good Neighbor Day 2026.

NATIONAL GOOD NEIGHBOR DAY HISTORY…

In 1978, United States President Jimmy Carter issued Proclamation 4601:

“As our Nation struggles to build friendship among the peoples of this world, we are mindful that the noblest human concern is concern for others. Understanding, love and respect build cohesive families and communities. The same bonds cement our Nation and the nations of the world. For most of us, this sense of community is nurtured and expressed in our neighborhoods where we give each other an opportunity to share and feel part of a larger family…I call upon the people of the United States and interested groups and organizations to observe such day with appropriate ceremonies and activities.”

*If you’re looking for mums, please visit River City Farms on Stoll Rd. Good plants and great humans!

40% of last week’s family texts got NO RESPONSE. From a mentoring perspective that leaves us wondering…did the text go through? did we send the text to a wrong number? did the parents/students not understand the feedback in the text?

Please remember that these texts are meant to be interactive. It also provides a great opportunity to help with praise & corrections. Even a quick 👍🏻or 👎🏻 lets us know the communication was received.

So, for the 60% of students and parents who DID reply…👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Have a great week & we look forward to 100% response rate this Friday! 🥳
