***UPDATE***
🌳 Park Closures for Forest Stewardship & Restoration

Beginning Wednesday, October 14th Fox Park will be closed while a strategic timber harvest takes place. The following week, Lincoln Brick Park will also be closed for the same operations.

📅 Dates and times are subject to change. For the most up-to-date information on closures and operations, please follow Eaton County Parks on social media.

This project is part of our long-term Forest Stewardship and Restoration Plan. Recent windstorms have damaged trees throughout Fox Park and Lincoln Brick Park, affecting tree health and creating potential hazards for park visitors.

The goal of this work is to:
🌱 Remove trees that are unlikely to survive
🌳 Create space for new tree growth
🌿 Develop a more diverse and resilient forest
🌾 Plant native species suited to these parks
🌱 Help combat invasive species

These efforts will help support the long-term health of our forests while creating healthier, safer park environments for years to come.
