There are ten new bestsellers, 28 new audiobooks, seven new children's books, and 27 other new books, including 72 that are available online.

The new bestsellers this week include "Threshing Day," "Hollow Bones," and "The Pirate Queen."

There are one new bestseller, fourteen new audiobooks, nine new children's books, and nine other new books, including 33 that are available online.

The new bestseller this week is "The Secret Garden: A Graphic Novel."

The Grand Marais Public Library is excited to welcome families back for a brand-new season of Storytime. This free program is designed for preschool-aged children and will be held throughout the fall at 10:30 AM.

Thursdays:
October 1, 8, 22, and 29
November 12 and 19
December 3,10, and 17

Each Storytime session combines engaging picture books with a fun, hands-on activity designed to support children's early learning and development. Children will practice important readiness skills such as vocabulary development, phonological awareness, active listening, and taking turns.

Older children who attend with a younger sibling or friend will also have an alternative activity available.

After the stories, families are invited to enjoy a simple craft designed to strengthen fine motor skills. Before heading home, be sure to stop by the library's children's section and choose a fresh bundle of books to take home and enjoy together! We look forward to seeing you at Storytime this fall!
