This morning, our GPPD Volunteers were proud to roll up their sleeves and give back during City of Grand Prairie - Municipal Government Big Event!
Working side by side with our dedicated officers, code compliance, city staff, and our partners at Grand Prairie Crime Stoppers, the team came together to help clean up McFalls Park as part of the effort.
This is what community looks like—neighbors, volunteers, and public servants united with a shared purpose to keep Grand Prairie clean, safe, and beautiful. Thank you to everyone who showed up and made a difference today!

The Grand Prairie Police Department needs your help!!!
This sweet senior dog was abandoned in the cruelest way. Recently, this little elderly pup was found inside a trash dumpster, left alone and frightened, discarded like garbage in the 500-blk of East Polo Road, Grand Prairie.
Thanks to the kindness of Good Samaritans, this precious soul was rescued just in time and is now safe and receiving the care and comfort every animal deserves. 🐾❤️
But the person or people responsible for this act of cruelty are still out there — and we need your help to find them.
If you recognize this dog, saw anything suspicious, or have any information about who did this, please contact Grand Prairie Crime Stoppers. You can REMAIN COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS and may be eligible for a CASH REWARD up to $2500.
