Attention families, from June 1 to July 31, Grand Prairie ISD will operate on a summer 😎 hours schedule.
District summer hours are:
Monday-Thursday 7:30 am-5:00 pm

Ochoa Uniform Closet/Closet de Uniformes en Ochoa
We are reaching out to our Ochoa families and community to please donate any gently used/in fair condition/new uniforms to our Ochoa Uniform closet to support any families/students who may uniform assistance this upcoming 2026-2027 school year. If you have a church or community partner who’d like to support, we would truly appreciate your partnership as well.

We are accepting all sizes to include- any colors in: Uniform bottoms (pants, skirts, shorts), tops (short and long-sleeved), closed-toe shoes, and STEM/Ochoa shirts. If possible, please drop them off pre-washed.
They may be dropped off in the front office anytime this summer, Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm, excluding holidays. We hope to continue with this campaign throughout the school year.

Closet de Uniformes en Ochoa

Este año escolar, nos estamos comunicando con nuestras familias y comunidad de Ochoa para pedirles que, por favor, donen uniformes usados en buen estado o nuevos a nuestro Closet de Uniformes de Ochoa para apoyar a las familias y estudiantes que necesiten asistencia con uniformes este próximo año escolar 2026-2027. Si hay iglesias o grupos de la comunidad que gustarían apoyar, agradeceríamos su apoyo también.

Estamos aceptando todas las tallas, incluyendo cualquier color en: partes de abajo de uniforme (pantalones, faldas, shorts), partes de arriba (de manga corta y manga larga), zapatos cerrados y camisetas de STEM/Ochoa. Si es posible, por favor entréguelos pre-lavados.

Las donaciones pueden dejarse en la oficina principal en cualquier momento durante este verano, de lunes a jueves de 8 a.m. a 4 p.m., excluyendo días festivos. Esperamos continuar con esta campaña durante el año escolar también.

What an incredible week for our Ochoa community! 🎉🇲🇽🔬💃🏽

A huge THANK YOU to all of our staff, families, students, and community members who helped make our Cinco de Mayo Parade on 5/2/26 such a success! Thank you to everyone who donated, helped decorate our float, walked in the parade, and supported our students along the way. A special shoutout to our Folklórico Club students for their hard work, dedication, and beautiful representation of culture and tradition throughout the parade. We are so proud of you!

We also want to recognize and celebrate everyone who participated in Ochoa’s very first STEM Expo and our Folklórico Club Spring Recital on 5/7/26. Thank you to the students, staff, and families who dedicated their time, energy, and effort to make these events so meaningful and memorable. We are especially proud of our Folklórico students for staying after school to learn the art, history, and culture behind each dance performance. Your commitment, perseverance, and pride truly shined on stage.

These events are only possible because of the strength, support, and heart of our Ochoa community. Thank you for continuing to show up for our students and helping create experiences they will always remember! ❤️🖤

¡MUCHAS GRACIAS a todo nuestro personal, familias, estudiantes y miembros de la comunidad que ayudaron a hacer de nuestro Desfile del Cinco de Mayo el 5/2/26 un gran éxito! Gracias a todos los que donaron, ayudaron a decorar nuestro carro alegórico, caminaron en el desfile y apoyaron a nuestros estudiantes durante todo el evento. Un reconocimiento especial para los estudiantes del Club de Folklórico por su arduo trabajo, dedicación y hermosa representación de nuestra cultura y tradiciones durante el desfile. ¡Estamos muy orgullosos de ustedes!

También queremos reconocer y celebrar a todos los que participaron en la primera Expo STEM de Ochoa y en el Recital de Primavera del Club de Folklórico el 5/7/26. Gracias a los estudiantes, personal y familias que dedicaron su tiempo, energía y esfuerzo para hacer de estos eventos algo tan significativo y memorable. Estamos especialmente orgullosos de nuestros estudiantes de Folklórico por quedarse después de clases para aprender el arte, la historia y la cultura detrás de cada baile. Su compromiso, perseverancia y orgullo brillaron verdaderamente en el escenario.
