Michigan SW Licensure Process: Effective December 22, 2021, anyone seeking initial licensure in Michigan must complete human trafficking training before obtaining their license. This requirement ensures that licensed professionals are better prepared to recognize and respond to signs of human trafficking.

Michigan SW Licensure Process: If you hold a Limited License in Michigan, you're required to complete Continuing Education! Under the Michigan Public Health Code, all licensees need to complete 1 hour of implicit bias training for each year of their license or registration cycle to stay compliant.
