The Grand Rapids Housing Commission celebrated our 60th anniversary with a reception and dinner event yesterday evening at the GVSU Eberhard Center. Local winners each received a $25 Visa gift card, and Rihanna’s poster also earned her top honors at the state-level NAHRO Poster Contest in the middle school category!

Rihanna’s "What Home Means to Me" Poster Contest entry has been sent with other state winners’ entries to NAHRO's regional poster contest, and regional winners will move on to the national contest and a chance to win a cash prize and a trip to Washington, D.C.

HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR CAREER OPPORTUNITY, PART TIME

The Grand Rapids Housing Commission is currently seeking a qualified Human Resources professional for a part-time position that will provide operational and administrative support, including assisting with personnel records management, recruitment, employee communications, benefits administration and compliance. Pay range is $26.96 to $28.60 per hour.

• Respond to maintenance requests with speed and skill
