We were excited to celebrate Count Day with our scholars today. As part of our celebration we had a sweet treat while in their seat. Cupcakes for everyone! Thanks again to our families for helping to make count day success and to students being ready to learn!

This week we took our 2nd-8th graders downtown to Art Prize. Scholars were able to meet and ask questions to some of the artists. It was a time of learning, fun, and enrichment for the students

As I was scrolling through pictures looking for a certain picture, I came across these gems 🧡🖤 and I just had to share!

These three amazing educators — Mrs. Griffith, Ms. Toronto, and Ms. Walton — have been such a special part of the Ford family for years!

These pictures date all the way back to 2017, and the dedication is still going strong! Mrs. Griffith and Ms. Walton have been here since we opened! 🙌🏽 Talk about dedication and Bengal Pride!

So many students, memories, laughs, and special moments along the way. Thank you for the countless lives you’ve touched, the love you pour into our scholars, and the heart you bring to Ford every single day. We are beyond grateful for your years of dedication, commitment, and love for our school community. You are truly a part of what makes Ford special! 🧡🖤

Today we’re celebrating our amazing Ms. Lynnae, our KSSN Coordinator!

Ms. Lynnae does SO much for Gerald R. Ford Academic Center. Every day, she puts our students and their needs at the center of what she does. She connects students and families with resources, supports them through challenges, creates opportunities, and makes sure our Bengals have the support they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

She played a huge part in helping us get our new playground, but her impact goes far beyond that. She is always looking for ways to make school better for our students and to make sure every child feels supported, cared for, and connected.

Ms. Lynnae, thank you for showing up for our students, advocating for them, believing in them, and doing whatever you can to help them succeed. Your heart for our Bengals and the difference you make in their lives does not go unnoticed. We are so grateful to have you as part of our Ford family! 🧡🖤
