Ed Clark, RIP 07/02/2025

We are very sad to hear that the 1980 Libertarian Party presidential nominee, Ed Clark, has passed away. Ed was an inspiration to the libertarian movement and a true gentleman. Not long after his 1980 campaign he flew to West Michigan to address the newly-formed Kent County Libertarian Party and was met at the Grand Rapids airport by both local libertarian admirers and a television news crew.

Ed Clark, RIP His 1980 presidential campaign put the Libertarian Party on the map in a year rich in libertarian cultural clout.

Whether it's been local income tax increases and no serious property tax reform at the state level or the Big Ugly Bill expanding government and exploding the debt at the federal level, Republicans are no different than Democrats when it comes to growing government. Do something different and to vote for actual limited government.
