This training will discuss fair housing protections and trends, what housing discrimination may look like for the populations you work with, ways you can advocate for clients, and opportunities for partner organizations to get involved in the fight for equal access to housing in our community.
Attendees will also learn more about the broad implications of housing discrimination as well as what services the FHCWM offers.
Attendees must work with an organization serving the City of Grand Rapids residents or be a Grand Rapids resident or housing advocate.
This is a City of Grand Rapids Community Development funded program.

These sessions will provide introductory fair housing information to rental professionals. They are a great training opportunity for those who are new to fair housing. These trainings will also include information specific to properties and communities funded/financed by MSHDA.
