Thank you Mr. Manders and your students at FX for presenting the curriculum highlight at tonight’s board of education meeting. FX is Central High School’s broadcasting class and the class airs a daily TV show for Central students and staff! The class does more than prepare future journalists, broadcasters, and media professionals, but builds teamwork and leadership skills and much more! (Link in comments to their video.)

Star light, star bright, watch our students reach new heights! Kindergarten students at Orchard View wrapped up their literacy unit on nursery rhymes. The culminating event was the nursery rhyme Olympics! From Hickory Dickory Dock and the Itsy Bitsy Spider, to Humpty Dumpty, and more, nursery rhymes and fables help students identify characteristics of rhyming patterns, make predictions on what could happen next, retell the events in order, and so much more!
