A homeownership opportunity is available now in Grand Rapids.

Itasca County Habitat for Humanity is accepting applications for a home currently nearing completion in Grand Rapids.

For an individual or family who is ready to take the next step toward affordable homeownership, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

Habitat homeowners partner with us throughout the process as they work toward purchasing a safe, affordable place to call home.

Applications are due October 31.

Learn more about eligibility, the application process and Habitat homeownership at itascahabitat.org or call our office at 218-999-9001 or stop in Monday-Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

And please share this post. You never know who in your community may be ready for this opportunity.

Edgar made a new friend? at the ReStore today.

We don't know his name.

We don't know where he came from.

We don't know what he's seen.

And frankly, we don't think we're going to ask.

Unlike Edgar, however, this one is for sale.

Stop by the ReStore and give him a good home.

Please buy him, we're uncomfortable.
