Hello everyone!
My name is Alex Toren, and I am the new president of the Democrats at GRCC!
After several years, the GRCC chapter of the Michigan College Democrats will be reopened.
While I work to get full access to this page, please follow our new page, Democrats at GRCC (which for some reason I can not tag but may be put in the comments) so you can stay up to date with our chapter.
We are so excited to have this opportunity to bring democratic politics back to Grand Rapids Community College, and have many great plans ahead!

Michigan Democrats flipped 5 Senate and 6 House seats! This means that we have broken the GOP super-majority in the Senate and have lowered the number of House seats we need to flip in 2020 from 9 to 4. These are amazing results in spite of Republican's extreme gerrymandering (which, by the way, will not happen again thanks to Prop 2). Congrats to Dayna Polehanki Democrat for Michigan State Senate, State Senator-Elect: Rosemary Bayer, Mi. District 12, Mallory McMorrow for State Senate, Sean McCann, Winnie Brinks for State Senate, Laurie Pohutsky, State Representative-Elect, HD-19, Matt Koleszar For State Representative, Mari Manoogian for State Representative, Padma Kuppa For State Representative, Jim Haadsma for State Representative and Angela Witwer for State Representative!!!
