Nice win for our appeals division today! APA Audra Blodgett did a wonderful job in front of the Court of Appeals and got a published decision upholding the sentencing of a convicted s*x offender. Hasn't been easy for any office to get a win in the appellate courts the last few years, so nice work Audra making sure this sentence was upheld!

Chief APA Bartlett and I had a great night at the West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Gala tonight! Really great event, met some wonderful people, and enjoyed seeing all of the happy award winners!

Happy to attend and support Puertas Abiertas and their "Evening of Hope" tonight! They are great partners in DVAN and do so much to support victims of domestic violence in Kent County. The shoes the victims made were really great to see.

Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to be part of something meaningful. This week, Youth with Potential (YWP) officially launches—focused on redirecting youth from crime to opportunity through mentorship and real community support. Great to have the office out to support the Children's Advocacy Center of Kent County at the annual luncheon today. Always a great event and proud to be a part of the CAC!
