β€οΈπŸ’›πŸ’š Celebrating the Power of Love, Freedom & Heritage This June πŸ’šπŸ’›β€οΈ

June is a month overflowing with history, courage, and culture. We honor the communities whose stories shape our nation and remind us of what resilience, unity, and love look like.

✨ Pride Month uplifts 2-SLGBTQ+ voices. This year's Pride theme, "For All of Us," reminds us that thriving communities are built through unity, visibility, and collective care.

✨ Juneteenth honors freedom, resilience, and the end of slavery in the United States. It is a day to both reflect on and celebrate the past, present, and future of African American communities.

✨ Loving Day commemorates the Supreme Court decision Loving v Virginia (1967) that ended all state laws against in*******al marriage.

✨ National Immigrant Heritage Month recognizes the strength, diversity, and contributions of immigrants who enrich our communities.

✨ Caribbean American Heritage Month celebrates the vibrant culture, history, and achievements of Caribbean Americans nationwide. We celebrate in June because June was chosen to commemorate the arrival of the first Caribbean immigrants at Ellis Island in 1898!

Together, these observances highlight the beauty of our shared humanity. This month β€” and every month β€” we commit to learning, honoring, and serving the communities that make our world brighter.
