54th Street Academy students who met the requirements for Reading Month in March received tickets to the Whitecaps game during the day at the end of April! Students had a beautiful day at LMCU Ballpark and were able to enjoy some baseball and delicious food!

As this year's KHS Juniors and Seniors are getting hair and makeup done, outfits prepped, and the venue ready for 2026 Prom, let's look back at one last prom from the past. The 2014 Prom was hosted by the Junior class at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum on May 3, 2014! Students were able to dance the night away while also enjoying the museum around them, like creating bubbles!

KHS 2026 Seniors, we hope you had a great last Friday!

Nas is one of our KHS Class of 2026! His fondest memory of Kelloggsville is playing football and winning this season! His plans for the future are to go to college for business and to play football. Mr. Branch has had a significant impact on him while at KHS. If given the chance, he would go back and tell himself, "Take in all the moments and appreciate the small things because time isn't going to stop."

Congratulations, Nas, we cannot wait to see you soar!

Let's head back to 1998 for another Prom blast from the past! "My Heart Will Go On" Junior-Senior Prom was at the Amway Grand Plaza on May 9, 1998! Dion and Heidi were crowned Prom King and Queen.

Yesterday, Southeast students had a Sensory Exploration Day to celebrate April’s Autism Acceptance/Awareness Month. This event is designed to promote understanding, inclusion, and appreciation of neurodiversity within our school community. Students had hands-on opportunities to explore different sensory experiences, helping them build empathy and awareness of how individuals with autism and other sensory sensitivities may experience the world. Southeast students were accompanied by the Kelloggsville High School Latino Student Union.

The Junior-Senior Prom in 1986 was held almost 40 years ago on May 3, 1986, at the Ramada Inn! The students enjoyed another Hawaiian-themed event and a live band.
