BUILD the future

The Northern MN Builders Association (NMBA), in partnership with the TBG Education Foundation, has currently awarded 10 area high school trade classrooms $1,500 each in 2026!

Through our BUILD the future program, these funds help instructors purchase tools, equipment, and supplies that give students valuable hands-on experience in the building trades.

Supporting trades education has always been important to the NMBA. These classrooms are where many students get their first introduction to the construction industry, and we want to help make sure they have the resources and opportunities to explore a future in the trades.

A big thank you to our NMBA members! Your continued membership and support help make programs like this possible and allow us to keep investing in our local schools, students, and the future of the building industry!

Builders & Legislators Luncheon – October 22nd

The Northern MN Builders Association is teaming up with the Mid Minnesota Builders Association for a Builders & Legislators Luncheon on October 22nd.

Legislators from both major parties have been invited for an open discussion about the issues facing Minnesota’s building industry.

We’re pleased to share that the following legislators have confirmed their participation:

• Representative Keri Heintzeman
• Representative Spencer Igo

This is a great opportunity to connect with our elected leaders, discuss housing and construction issues, and make sure our local building industry's voice is heard.

You'll also have the opportunity to meet NMBA's state lobbyist, Sam Walseth, who will be moderating the discussion!

Another great NMBA Fun Shoot in the books

We had a great time September 18th at the Grand Rapids Gun Club. Good shooting, good food, and plenty of fun at the FUN SHOOT!
