The Saint Alphonsus Food & Clothing pantry is closed today, Jan. 27, due to weather. ❄️

We will be following the Grand Rapids Public Schools closings. So when they are closed, the pantry is also closed. 

The St. Alphonsus Food & Clothing Pantry will be closed on Tuesday, January 20th, due to weather. ❄️

The St. Alphonsus Food & Clothing Pantry will be closed Monday, January 19, due to the weather. Stay safe and warm! ❄️

Food & Clothing Pantry update:

We humbly request a *pause* to all clothing donations for the next two weeks. We are overflowing with clothes (thank you for that!), but we need a couple of weeks to get caught up. :)

This morning, 200 meals were delivered by our parishioners to those in need and those who are on their own this Thanksgiving.

Our volunteers packed the meals and loaded up 11 cars of delivery volunteers who joyfully brought the meals to those in need.

We are very thankful for all of YOU! Thank you for making St. Alphonsus a welcoming and joyful place to encounter our Lord.

We want to extend a HUGE thank you to FOODesign by Chef Brech for their generous donation to our Thanksgiving Meal outreach program!

This evening, we were able to give 206 households a large box full of food from our mobile food pantry through Feeding America! This is nearly twice as many as we usually serve. The line of cars was all the way around the corner down to Spencer Street.

A HUGE thank you to our incredible volunteers - very well done. As always, the Lord provides & we didn’t run out of food, even with the increase of households. We know that with the SNAP situation, many are food-insecure. Please know of our prayers and dedication to feeding the hungry in our community.
