Museums are evolving.
Today, more and more museums are inviting their audience to join the process of learning and discovery. Offering more than spaces for observation and reflection, museums are creating experiences that encourage visitors to interact with the concepts and artifacts on display.
The Museum of Natural History at the University of Michigan embodies this. They tapped us, Lord Cultural Resources, and Taylor Studios to build a suite of new exhibits as they moved into their new home in 2019.
The museum is now part of the Biological Sciences Building, sharing space with student classrooms, labs, and two other research-centric museums.
New exhibits feature microbiology, the evolution of life in Michigan, and even a peek into a working fossil lab. The museum provides a variety of interactive activities for students and the general public, from building hemoglobin out of 3D models to standing in the footprints of a mastodon.

Quality matters.
This mantra defines how Xibitz works, impacting every part of the production process. From 1988 to today.
“Not just the end product, but also our process, how we do things, our communication, our treatment of others inside of this building—it all has to be done with the utmost quality.” —Jeremy Miller, Principal

Celebrating Earth Day 🌎 the Xibitz way:
Some of our favorite projects put sustainability upfront. While we strive to source sustainable materials and reduce energy needs in our process and final products, these projects hold a special place in our heart.
WM - A cascading, vibrant green wall and repurposed mixed-materials used throughout the Houston headquarters are reminders of WM’s commitment to sustainable change.
Ford Calumet Environmental Center - Located in Big Marsh Park, FCEC is the gateway to the Calumet region’s rich and essential history. Our modular exhibit showcases the spectacular breadth of the park’s biodiversity.
Conagra - This project is proof that even glamorous brand design can center the planet. Recycled barn wood is used throughout the facility, a bold choice that is both visually appealing and environmentally-friendly.
We’re excited to see more designers, clients, and workshops centering sustainability in their work. If you want to see more of ours, be sure to like & follow!

Retro meets modern at the Sydney Swans HQ 🤝
This 2,145 piece split-flap lives in the Sydney Swans headquarters at the Royal Hall of Industries.
The goal of this project was to bring all of the Swans’ teams together under one roof, creating an inspiring athletic and administrative space while preserving the distinct architecture and details of the historic building. The Nostaboard, an old-school departure board reimagined for the modern day, was the perfect complement for this design vision.

This year, we completed 80+ projects across the country, bringing experiences to life from New York to Seattle, Miami to Toronto. Working alongside incredible design partners, we fabricated and installed everything from a floating airplane cockpit for Ronald McDonald to an interactive exhibition exploring race and unity at The DoSeum.
Some highlights:
✨ Ronald McDonald Atlanta House (designed by )

✨ DoSeum’s “Uniquely Us” traveling exhibition
✨ Clemson University Alumni Center with ring scanner experience (designed by )
✨ Chicago Cubs Nostaboard remodel
✨ Sherwin Williams experience center (designed by )
As we head into our 38th year, we’re grateful for the trust our clients place in us, and we’re so excited about what’s next.

The new Nieri Family Alumni and Visitors Center at Clemson University welcomes every visitor with a unique and meaningful experience. Designed by Jack Porter, the space emphasizes connection and continuity between the generations of students that have called CU home.
We are particularly proud of the ring display, a clever combination of glass, acrylic, and metal that delivers on aesthetics and interactivity.

Ringing in the year with style — our team had a blast at SILVA last week! We may be rookies at bocce, but we’re no strangers to fun! We celebrated some milestones and capped off 2025 with great food, drinks, and entertainment.
It was especially cool to see one of our builds here — the carousel-themed bar was installed by our team last year! We think it’s the perfect addition to SILVA’s unique atmosphere.
As always, we are so lucky to have such a fantastic team. It may be a little late (sorry, we’ve been busy), but here’s to 2026!
