Just a friendly reminder that our tabling event for bringing awareness to domestic violence begins tomorrow! You can support this community and everyone affected by painting your ring fingernail purple along with several other activities! More details are included in the post below. Please join the MSWSO in bringing awareness to domestic violence!
We will be hosting a tabling event during the week of the 22nd of October including the opportunity to write a note of support to a survivor of domestic violence, paint your ring fingernail purple as part of the campaign, and the option to donate money and receive a purple awareness ribbon. We will also have a speaker from the YWCA presenting on October 29th.
Domestic violence is something that affects all people, including children. 20 people are abused by an intimate partner every minute, adding up to 10 million people each year. These statistics are alarming and we want your help in putting an end to this issue in our society.We hope you can join us!

Official MSW apparel order forms and $ will be due by Friday, October 21! Please give both to Sean Bain in the School of Social Work office located at 391C DeVos! After that we will place the order and hope to have them to you by Thanksgiving! (Checks can be made out to GVSU)

Recovery Palooza is tomorrow! It's an event 1-5pm similar to a carnival celebration freedom from addiction! If you want to volunteer last minute, message and let us know!
