🔥Join us in the forge to learn how fire, metal and a hammer come together to create a twisted grill fork! Our experienced blacksmith will teach you a few tricks of the trade in this introductory blacksmith class. Topics covered will include forge safety, tools, and fire building, and you will have an opportunity to work on a twisted grill fork. No experience necessary! Blandford Nature Center will provide safety equipment, including gloves and ear and eye protection.🔥

🌳 Join ANFT certified forest therapy guide, Katie Venechuk, to explore the relaxing practice of guided forest bathing. Learn about the background and research of Shinrin-yoku (translated in English as “forest bathing”), how it differs from a hike in the woods, and why it’s internationally recognized as an effective tool for natural stress release. You’ll be guided in a relaxing forest bathing experience while exploring the beautiful woods and meadows at Blandford; helping you calm your mind, reconnect to nature, and experience your time outdoors in a new way.
