⚠️ Wind Advisory – Gusty Conditions Expected Across West MI Friday⚠️

Hold onto your hats, GR! 💨 The US National Weather Service Grand Rapids Michigan has issued a Wind Advisory:

🕒 Timing: 7 AM to 9 PM EST Friday (02/20/26)

📍 Where: Portions of south central and southwest Michigan. Including Ottawa, Kent, Ionia, Clinton, Allegan, Barry, Eaton, Ingham, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Calhoun, and Jackson counties.

💨 What to Expect:
• Southwest winds 15–30 mph
• Gusts up to 45 mph
• Winds increasing through the morning
• Strongest gusts likely during the afternoon

🚗 Impacts:
• Unsecured outdoor objects may be blown around
• Tree limbs could be knocked down
• Isolated power outages possible

👉 Be Prepared:
Secure loose outdoor items, use caution if driving (especially high-profile vehicles), and stay alert for falling debris.
