We celebrated Will's 21st birthday at the station with some pizza and cake. Will is integral to our team as station steward, and we are so thankful to know him and work with him. Happy birthday Will!

February 3, 2026 we honor Four Chaplains Day. Four chaplains protected and saved others after the ship they were on was torpedoed by a German submarine. They made sure those around them made it off the sinking vessel. As we reflect on their acts of heroic selflessness we also want to honor our department chaplain, Chaplain Tim Dieffenbach. He shows up for us in any way needed; lending a hand, a listening ear, a smile, prayers, a hug. We are so grateful that you are part of our department.

Join us in congratulating FF Mark Kloosterman on completing all requirements to become black helmet certified! Great work!

Today we "Spring Forward" changing our clocks, and you should also change the batteries in your smoke detectors. Smoke detectors are easily forgotten about in the home, but keeping a regular schedule of changing the batteries and making sure everything is in working order is one quick way to boost your home's safety.
