Vote today! Two GRPS scholars have been named finalists in a statewide contest to create “I Voted” stickers for the November 2026 general election.

Clara G. and Lucinda S., both seniors at City High Middle School, were named among the 30 finalists in the statewide high school division. Voting is open until 11:59 p.m. on June 30.

As a Children’s House teacher at Ridgemoor Park Montessori, Sharon Honicutt values the opportunity to guide students through some of their earliest and most important years of learning.

“I work to encourage students to be themselves, value themselves, and value others,” she said. “I want them to see themselves as capable thinkers who are not afraid to try and keep trying, and who will make our world better.”
