*** TERO Worker of the Month – August 2026

Name: Jesse Levi Peone
Employer: Wildish Standard Paving
Position: Superintendent

Jesse Levi Peone joined the TERO program In June of 2017 when he attended the first ever TERO recruitment event at the tribes Portland office. At that time, he was referred out to Wildish Standard Paving company on the I-5 Deck Rehab project in Portland.
Jesse was referred out as a general laborer with very few skills in the trade. In 2018, he joined the laborer’s union, and from there he excelled in the trades. He has done all forms of bridge work, dirt work, and also ADA replacement ramps. Jesse also obtained his Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification and journeyed out as a laborer.
In 2022, Jesse was promoted to a Foreman position and in 2025 was again promoted, but this time to a superintendent role. Jesse is still a very loyal employee to Wildish Standard Paving company.
TERO is very proud to announce Jesse as our August 2026 TERO worker of the month. Jesse has been selected not only for his great work ethic and devotion to his employer, but also for representing the Grand Ronde TERO program in a good way.

Congratulations Jesse, keep up the good work.
