Grand View Ambulance is about more than responding to emergencies—we’re about being there for our neighbors when they need us most. Whether providing medical care, assisting someone in need, or simply offering reassurance during a difficult moment, every call is an opportunity to serve our community with compassion, dedication, and care.

We’re proud to announce that our ambulances have once again passed state inspection! 🚑 This inspection ensures that the ambulances, equipment, and safety systems meet all required standards and are ready to serve when our community needs us most. A big thank you to everyone who works hard to keep our ambulance maintained, stocked, and ready to respond!

After over 30 years of dedicated service, Debbie Long (GVA) and Mary Tindall (BQRU) are getting ready to hang up their stethoscopes and begin a well-deserved retirement. Their commitment, compassion, and service to our community have made a lasting impact on countless lives. We are incredibly grateful for all the time, care, and heart they have given over the years. Please join us in wishing them both all the best as they prepare for this exciting new chapter! We will have a retirement party, time and date to be announced.

We will never forget the national tragedy that happened 25 years ago today. We honor those who lost their lives, their families and the heroes who ran towards danger to help those who were in need.

During the month of July, Grand View Ambulance’s newer Basic EMT’s and an EMT from Bruneau QRU, have been learning and practicing OMs (Optional Modules). Glucagon, IO’s, Supraglottic airways (Igels) and IV’s. With high 90° to over 100° temperatures coming this next few weeks, we encourage you to stay cool, hydrated and limit sun exposure. Wear sunscreen, light sun shirts, and a wide brimmed hat if you have one. If you’re working out in the heat, drink plenty of cold or ice water, find shade and take breaks frequently.

We would like to wish you all a happy 4th of July and 250th anniversary of America!

Please Remember:
Never try to relight a firework that did not go off.
Keep a garden hose or bucket of water near by just in case.
Be careful around explosive fireworks, fingers are harder to find in the dark.
Drink responsibly, stay put or find a sober driver.
