We met with the Grandview C-4 School District Broadcasting class today to kick off a partnership with the Chamber and business community! We will be introducing them to local business owners to create commercials for their businesses.

We are excited to continue growing our relationship with the district in unique ways to bring students and local businesses together!

Celebrating Excellence in Education!

We're proud to celebrate Grandview High School teacher Diane Euston, who was honored as a 2026 Kansas City Regional Teacher of the Year!

Yesterday, Diane joined fellow outstanding educators from across Missouri for a special luncheon celebrating the Missouri Teacher of the Year candidates.

As a history and broadcasting teacher at GHS, Diane brings learning to life, inspires student voices and creates opportunities for Bulldogs to discover their potential.

Congratulations, Diane! Thank you for your passion, dedication and the difference you make for our students every day. You represent Bulldog excellence!

💙💛 AVID IN ACTION: Big Goals Start Small!

Meet Stirling, a third grader at Belvidere Elementary who is taking ownership of her learning, one word at a time!

Stirling is working toward an academic goal: spelling high-frequency words.

With her goal written down and her progress in focus, she's building the skills, confidence, and habits that will help her succeed.

Through goal-setting, organization, and personal responsibility, our youngest Bulldogs are learning that success starts with knowing what you're working toward. That's AVID in action!

Meet Calvin Carter, better known to our students as “Mr. Calvin!”

An Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Supervisor at Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC), Mr. Calvin volunteers twice a week in our Grandview High School Advanced Manufacturing classroom, sharing his expertise, passion for metalworking and real-world industry experience with our Bulldogs.

And here's what makes his commitment extra special: He spends one of his days off from work investing in our students!

His WHY? He loves working with metal, loves working with young people and wants to help inspire the next generation of skilled professionals who will shape the future of manufacturing.

For Mr. Calvin, giving back isn't just something he does. It's an opportunity he considers an honor and a responsibility he doesn't take lightly.

Superintendent Dr. Stephanie Amaya traded her district office for a patient's chair at Grandview Middle School!

She joined several staff members as volunteer patients for our Medical Detectives class, where students stepped into the role of doctors. Armed with their research and knowledge of symptoms, our young medical detectives asked questions, investigated clues, and worked to make a diagnosis.

💙💛 We love seeing our superintendent and staff jump into the learning experience alongside our Bulldogs!

WE ARE GRANDVIEW: What does fire safety look like in an elementary school? Sometimes, it looks like a classroom full of curious students, a trusted community partner, and a conversation that could one day save a life.

During Fire Prevention Week, Grandview Fire Marshal Marc Wachter has been visiting our elementary schools, sharing important fire prevention and emergency safety tips with our youngest Bulldogs. Through these conversations, students are learning how to recognize potential dangers, understand how to respond in an emergency, and build habits that help keep themselves and others safe.

But Marc’s visits represent something even bigger than fire safety. They reflect the power of strong school-community partnerships and the people who invest their time and expertise in helping our students thrive.

We are grateful to Marc Wachter and the Grandview Fire Department for being such dedicated advocates for our students and valued partners in our district.
