Idaho County Democrats The Idaho County Democratic Party is part of District 7 and is located in northern Idaho.

We aim to foster dialogue, activism & sense of community among Democrats in Idaho County and our State! Idaho County Democratic Party

Mission
The Idaho County Dems wish to create a community of registered Democrats where all can express their beliefs, promote their values and actively pursue a progressive society. Objectives

To increase numbers of Democratic registered voters and Permanent Vote by Mail (PVBM) registered voters in Idaho County. To maximize turnout of Democratic registered voters in all elections -- municipal, state and federal. To support Democratic candidates for all elected and appointed offices, boards and commissions in Idaho County. We believe


In social equality, equal opportunity and the use of government to pursue both. In a safe, secure America, fair wages, universal healthcare, first-rate education systems accessible to all and environmental policies that sustain the planet and human life. That United States foreign policy must reflect the tenets of our Constitution, the goodness of our citizens and our irrevocable commitment to continuity of human existence. That we must actively advocate and work for these beliefs in our own local community. That the government and citizens of Idaho County face increasing challenges in addressing employment, healthcare, environmental, energy, housing, development and quality of life issues. That activism and involvement in political processes are fundamental responsibilities of citizenship.

The League of Women Voters is hosting a Candidate Forum for contested races in Nez Perce County and Legislative Districts 6 and 7 on Thursday, October 15 from 5:30-6:45 p.m., Lewiston City Library, 2nd Floor Event Space. Time permitting, questions from the audience may be turned in and included.

If you are in northern Idaho, here’s a forum you’ll want to attend next Tuesday, Oct. 20 at the Lewiston Community Center from 6-8 pm on: “The Rising Cost of Living in Idaho - Let’s talk about it.” Hear from experts on the costs of housing, healthcare, childcare, and taxes, learn how your legislators voted on affordability issues, and hear from Luke Mayville of Reclaim Idaho about future initiatives targeting affordability. The event is sponsored by NOVA Idaho.

11am-noon on Main Street at Idaho St. in Grangeville. Join us!
No Kings: Vote Early Rally will be held on October 17, 2026, from 11:00am until noon at the corners of Main Street and Idaho Street in Grangeville. We will meet at 10:45am at the elementary school parking lot and walk to Main Street together.

This event will be one of over 3,000 similar rallies taking place across our country and internationally on this day. National organizers are predicting that millions of Americans will be enthusiastically turning out for this event.

Just 17 days out from the election, citizens from all walks of life will be gathering peacefully, across our nation. Participating in True Democratic fashion, utilizing People Power to send a message to all other eligible U.S. voters urging them to exercise their inalienable right to vote and Vote Early! By voting early they will help ensure that their vote will be accepted and counted.

The simple goal of this national event is to achieve the largest voter participation, and turnout in U.S. midterm history.

This will be a peaceful, nonpartisan event, so citizens of all political party affiliations are welcome and invited to join us. Organizers are asking that no candidate or political party signs (in support or opposition) be brought to the event.

A note about parking: Please do not park in private business lots.

Message the page for Riggins ballot and for Clearwater Valley school district ballot with a levy question on the back.
Election office says the sample ballot called, "What's on the Ballot, will be on https://voteidaho.gov tomorrow. That's also where you can check your registration and ask for an absentee ballot, or see the full election calendar!
